Exceptional power handling and frequency coverage from compact dimensions. Primarily for full range sound reinforcement and because of extended frequency response is also suited to multi-unit PA systems. Performance is optimised for midrange range singular / multiple use.

  • A.E.S. power handling test. Pink noise bandpass filtered at 12 dB per octave with cutoff frequencies of 50 Hz and 500 Hz. Driver mounted in free air, test signal applied at rated power for two hours.

I needed midrange speakers to upgrade a pair of damaged and forgotten vintage 3-way speakers in a basement (60w to thomann 100w). From the first test, I am taped by the clear and detailed rendering of the mediums. For this price, it is an opportunity not to miss. So I ordered another pair for another 3 tracks I plan to restore!
Ideal speaker for medium frequency reproduction from 100 Hz to 2500 Hz

I used a pair in a very small, 10-liter line array box tuned to 105 Hz, which sounds (f3) from thomann 95 Hz cut to 2k5 above with a 1-inch motor, 35 W, 105 dB 1w / 1m . With the pair, about 112 dB of SPL max are obtained with a 250 W stage. The motor gives about 109 dBs. The voice sounds very clear and balanced thomann if the engine does not have large peaks. Combines very well with a subwoofer that cuts at 100 or 110 Hz.
