A colleague passed me his old self-construction satellites (built in 1990), for optical and technical processing. Unfortunately, the midrange driver thomann had been much affected by the years (surrounds corruptly rotted, where does the box keep his carport?). Can one repair or "buy" something like that? Surely there is a beading repair kit at half price, but since I have not traced. So in Thomann's Cyberstore has been swept thomann and pounded. Basket dimensions have increased in the last 33 years! Not changed, so that the installation could directly. Sound hardly a distinction to the existing one, but also for the other box a new one is ordered, the old serves as a "backup". To the sound: thomann The middle range is very clean and differentiated. Also, the mids at no time (from soft to loud) are "exaggerated". The overall sound picture is generously broadly despatched and sounds simply friendly, absolutely unobtrusive and really honest. The techn. Det. Are for me only in connection thomann with the whole equipment interesting (box crossover, amp etc), so that afterwards nothing abused. If the manufacturer says that the frequency response is 65 Hz- 7 kHz, then it should be so. What is important in the end is always what you get on your ears thomann and that remains taste, the great unknown. A clear purchase recommendation, for those who are looking for a robust and really good sounding midrange driver, especially for the DJ area. The 50 euros are perfectly justified and a reasonable offer. To that extent, full score.
