The Colossus 12MBH is intended for use as a two way high output woofer in two way ported enclosures. The unit features a 3" sandwich construction CCAW voice coil driven by a non inductive motor system. The polycellulose cone is optimised to be stronger and lighter than conventional paper pulps. The aluminium rear heat cover dramatically reduces motor structure temperature and high power further reducing power compression through effective heat management and dispersion.

(2) A.E.S. power handling test. Pink noise bandpass filtered at 12 dB per octave with cutoff frequencies of XX Hz and XX Hz. Driver mounted in free air, test signal applied at rated power for two hours.
(3) Half space response measured in a XX Litre sealed box. Blue line = fundamental 45° off-axis. Please note that the frequency response measurements are supplied for comparison only and are not a measure of the low frequency performance which may be achieved in a fully optimised system.
(4) Positive voltage at red terminal causes forward motion of cone.
(5) Sensitivity measured at 1W/ 1m.
